Sunday School (for pre-K through grade 4)— is currently inactive.
The Bible Bunch is a study group that meets on Tuesdays from Noon until 1:00 from October through May. We currently meet in person, in the parish house, and on Zoom. The Link can be found in the News&Notes, or contact the church office.
The Occasional Book Group meets, occasionally, to discuss a book, usually a work of fiction.
Mission and Outreach
We offer mission and outreach in a variety of ways:
1. Bread of Life Dinner Delivery. From October through June, we deliver the evening meal to the Bread of Life Shelter on the first Wednesday of the month. Suspended during Covid.
2. Monthly Hallowell Food Bank offering. We collect food for the Hallowell Food Bank on the first Sunday of the month. Suspended during Covid, the Food Bank is the occasional recipient of the Outreach offering (see below).
3. Outreach Fund. Through our Outreach Fund, we offer donations to a variety of projects, from local projects like Pilgrim Lodge, the Hallowell Food Bank, and Family Violence Project, to worldwide projects, like disaster relief.
4. Regular offerings. We participate in United Church of Christ offerings, as well as ecumenical offerings– Neighbors in Need; Christmas Fund; Strengthen the Church; One Great Hour of Sharing; etc.
